DRAVYAGUNA VIGYAN [As per the Latest Course Curriculum for Second Professional BAMS (PRESCRIBED BY NCISM)]

The book has been written strictly according to the new syllabus issued by NCISM. The entire approach to the curriculum has been changed by NCISM with emphasis on modern patterns; including multiple choice, short answer and long answer type questions.

This book is divided in two parts Fundamental and Applied. While fundamental dravyaguna highlights the basic concepts and applied dravyaguna has emphasis on the Ayurvedic aspect of selected medicinal plants.

While due care has been taken to explain fundamental concepts exclusive of dravyaguna, modern research has been inculcated at required places so as to make the book useful both to students and faculty.

Core topics like rasa panchaka and emerging topics like pharmacovigilance and network pharmacology have been highlighted so that the learner can develop an analytical approach to dravyaguna.
